The girls didn't get up as early this year as they did last year. They were up at 7:30 this Christmas as opposed to around 6 AM last year!

Things were crazy as usual, but fun. We got to see Wendy (Brink) Jilson and her family, who were home from Virginia. We had a good time-our families, Leatha and son Nathan, plus Mama and Papa Brink. We had some good laughs talking about our goofy high school antics.

Rodney's brother, Barry, wife Laura and the 4 kids (Hannah 6, Ian 4, Bethany soon to be 3 and Rebekah almost a year) were here from 12/21-23 (went to Laura's family home in Philly for Christmas) and from 12/28-1/3. We had lots of fun with them and the kids so much enjoyed playing together. It was a treat to see them twice in one year--the first being the Myrtle trip in July. Barry and Laura reported that they came home to a lot a snow when they arrived back in Winona, MN.

Rodney's sister, Terri and her husband, Kevin were here from 12/28-12/31. We always have so much fun with Terri. We all went out for dinner for my birthday. She and Kevin bought me an "over the hill" headband to wear and some pills that were to make me "39 again".

Terri brought their dog Buster for the trip. He's an adorable Lhasa Apso. The kids had a lot of fun with Buster.

Christmas break goes way too fast......
